Start with your kit
Once you accept our offer we mail you a shipping kit: a double-walled box, bubble wrap, sealable bags, and a prepaid, fully insured label. Nothing to buy. Using your own box instead? Make it double-walled corrugated, never a single-wall grocery box. The label, though, is always ours: bottles only ever ship on the kit's prepaid, insured label, never on postage you arrange yourself.

Wrap each bottle
Two to three full layers of bubble wrap around the whole bottle, starting at the cap, since the closure and neck are the fragile parts. Tape every seam so the wrap can't shift. The bottle should feel like a padded cylinder, no glass reachable anywhere.

Bag it for leak protection
Slide each wrapped bottle into a sealable plastic bag. If the worst happens in transit, the bag keeps the label, the box, and the other bottles dry, and keeps the proof intact for the insurance claim (which is our problem, not yours).

Box with two inches of cushion
Bottles stand centered, never touching each other or a wall of the box. Aim for two inches of padding on every side, top and bottom included. Fill every gap with paper or bubble wrap, then do the shake test: close the flaps and shake gently. If anything moves or clinks, add more filler.

Seal, label, and send
Tape the box with the H-pattern: one strip along the center seam, one across each edge. Stick the prepaid label flat on top, drop it off or schedule a pickup, and keep the receipt. From that moment your bottles are tracked and insured door to door, on us.
Insured door to door
Coverage starts when the carrier scans the label at your door and runs until it's on our intake table (both directions, if a deal doesn't close).
Breakage is on us
A bottle broken in transit on our label still pays out at the full quoted amount. The claim is our paperwork, never yours.
Legal to ship
Alcohol moves under our ABC license and the carrier's alcohol program, the compliant path an individual can't set up alone.
