What to write in each field.
The golden rule: copy what the label says and leave blank what you can’t find. Never guess, never research: blanks are normal and we fill them in from your photos.

| Bottle name | Whatever the label says: copy it exactly, guesses and question marks welcome. |
| Brand / Distillery | If you can find it on the label. Leave blank if not. Identifying is our job. |
| Age statement | "12 years", "No age stated", or blank. |
| Proof | The number followed by 'proof' or 'ABV' on the label. |
| Size | 750ml is standard; older bottles may say 4/5 quart. Copy what's printed. |
| Quantity | How many identical bottles. |
| Sealed? (Y/N) | Unopened with the seal intact = Y. We only buy sealed bottles. |
| Fill level | Where the liquid sits: into the neck, top shoulder, mid shoulder… |
| Box / tube / tag? | Note any original packaging. It can add to the quote. |
| Notes | Anything else: storage history, damage, the story behind it. |
The template ships with three example rows, including an “unknown old decanter” row, because that’s a real entry on most inherited lists. Pair each row with photos using the photo guide.
